Havoc Robotics sought to develop a new category of intellectual and innovative sports (iSports) around robot fighting.

The National Havoc Robot League (NHRL) is the world's largest series of robot combat tournaments. With a mission to promote, educate, and discover the next generation of STEM leaders, the NHRL combines groundbreaking technology, off-the-wall ideas, and ingenious engineering. Based in Norwalk, Connecticut, the NHRL currently hosts seven tournaments that gather and reward thousands of competitors and fans from around the world.


Solution

We provided a comprehensive marketing strategy to expand the reach among consumers and potential sponsorship brands with a combination of PR, thought leadership, in-person event circuits for executives at brandled events, and sales enablement through the management of a third party agent network. We acted as their de facto marketing department constructing their entire go-to-market strategy.

Results

With our guidance, NHRL garnered 86,744,194 media impressions across dozens of media placements in consumer and B2B advertising trade magazines. We standardized their go-to-market pitch deck, developed their sponsorship opportunities, and competitively priced out their brand sponsorship options using our knowledge of current market rates and connections in the industry. We helped secure and execute their first major brand activation with Paramount for the Transformers movie in 2024, with major opportunities emerging in 2025!
